MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Regularly attend & actively participate & contribute in NZAVPA group activities such as quarterly CPD events, meetings, peer reviews, etc.
2. NZAVPA members will act in accordance with the NZ Physiotherapy Standards Framework in both their human & veterinary/animal work
The Physiotherapy Standards Framework provides the foundation for the regulation of physiotherapy in New Zealand. This framework outlines the minimum expectations members of the public should have of individual practitioners & the profession as a whole.
The Framework consists of 3 key documents;
The Aotearoa New Zealand Physiotherapy Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct
3. Work within the scope of practice of individual qualification level at all times
4. Act within the best interest of the NZAVPA group & the profession at all times
5. Maintain NZ Physiotherapy Board registration & PNZ membership
6. Maintain appropriate human & animal/veterinary physiotherapy insurance (if practicing)
7. Take individual responsibility to continually strive for clinical excellence & professional development/upskilling
8. Willingness to support & help each member of the group
