Georgia Sumner-Davis

Veterinary Physiotherapist

Head To Tail Veterinary Physiotherapy

Service Region: Waikato

Georgia always knew she wanted to work with animals, beginning her journey with a Physiotherapy degree from Otago University in Dunedin, New Zealand. After 18 months working in public healthcare, she moved to the UK to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Hartpury University. Alongside her studies, she furthered her experience in human physiotherapy working in the National Health Service (NHS).

Georgia's passion is helping & building relationships with animals. She values the time physiotherapy allows for thorough assessment & treatment, & finds reward in the challenge of gaining the trust of more reluctant animals.

Georgia enjoys educating owners & empowering them with practical advice to support their pet’s care at home, recognising them as an essential part of the team. She is especially passionate about working alongside traditional veterinary care to help older animals stay comfortable, active, & engaged in life.

Georgia's qualifications include;

  • PG Dip Vet Physio (2019) - Hartpury University, UK

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPhty) (2015) - Otago University, NZ

  • Member of Physiotherapy New Zealand (PNZ)

  • NZ Physiotherapy Board Registered  (NZPB)
