Jo’s journey into canine physiotherapy is rooted in over 25 years' experience & passion for helping others thrive. As a trained physiotherapist, Jo successfully ran her own sports medicine clinics in Auckland, where she represented NZ as a physio for the Silver Ferns netball & Women’s Black Sticks hockey teams - travelling with them to the Commonwealth & Olympic Games. She has also provided her sports physio skills to touch rugby teams as well.
After relocating to Whakatāne four years ago, Jo turned her focus to canine rehabilitation, completing a canine hydrotherapy qualification in Australia & earning a degree in canine physiotherapy from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute, USA. She is pleased to offer comprehensive canine rehabilitation & hydrotherapy services in Whakatāne at PAWS 4 Rehab.
